Reading and Language Arts Lessons

The NWPB is proud to offer new activity worksheets that you can use as tools in class!

These lessons feature J. Slice, our Healthy Hero and focus on Math and are available for a variety of grades.  The lessons utilize fun facts about watermelon and include games, recipes and skill builders.

We'd like to thank Gale Van Norman from Black Hawk Elementary for writing in to us with some recommended books for grades K-3. Gale says that these are good stories to help introduce watermelons or extend a lesson. Thank you Gale!
