Freeze -Frond!

You Need:

Supplies
Plastic container
Fresh palm fronds
Fresh lemon leaves

Tools
Hot glue gun
Floral snips

Get Started:

  1. Attach the lemon leaves to the plastic container from top to bottom using a dab of hot glue on the back of each leaf.  Cover the entire container.
  2. Cut the upper chunk of the palm frond to match the approx. height of your bucket.
  3. Apply hot glue to the center stem of the palm frond and adhere to the lemon leaves.  Do this in four places – one on each side of the container.
  4. Finish off your ice bucket by tying a plain stem of palm frond around the container.

Hints & Clues:

We lined the inside lip of the container with lemon leaves for a more finished look.
The palm stem not only adds a finishing touch but it also helps keeps the palm fronds in place.
