Watermelon Dippers

This Fresh Dip with a Hint of Sweetness Makes a Treat Kids Will Love

Ingredients:
8 ounces sour cream
4 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Watermelon stix or small wedges
Instructions:
Blend together the sour cream, sugar and vanilla in a small serving bowl. Use as a dip for the watermelon.

Watermelon Donuts - Easy Breakfast Fun

Watermelon slices shaped like donuts

Ingredients:
Sour cream
Sugar to taste
Vanilla to taste
Slivered almonds
Instruction:
Cut out donut shapes from 1 1/2-inch thick slices of seedless watermelon. Sweeten sour cream with sugar and a touch of vanilla to taste. Frost half of the watermelon donut slices and sprinkle with almonds. Add another layer of watermelon slices and top with sweetened sour cream. Sprinkle toasted slivered almonds and serve.

An Easy, Fast, No-Mess Meal

Ingredients:
1-inch cubes of seedless watermelon
Smoked turkey breast
Cheddar cheese
Coffee stirrers or Beverage straws
Instructions:
Cut watermelon, turkey and cheese in cubes and skewer on stirrers or straws.

Watermelon Popsicles

Simple Frozen Fun

Ingredients:
Watermelon
Chunks of fresh fruit - try grapes, strawberries, or kiwi fruit
Instructions:
Puree watermelon and pour into Popsicle molds. Drop in chunks of fresh fruit, insert caps and place in freezer. Serve when frozen.

Watermelon Snow Cones

Fun for Kids of All Ages

Ingredients:
Seedless watermelon
Vanilla yogurt
Sweetened coconut
Sprinkle or jimmies
Ice cream cones or paper snow cone cups
Instructions:
Using an ice cream scoop, make balls of watermelon and place them in the freezer on a waxed paper-lined cookie sheet for no more than 1 hour. Remove from freezer and roll in vanilla yogurt and then sweetened coconut, and top with sprinkles or jimmies. Place in an ice cream cone or snow cone cup and enjoy.
