The contest will start June 8 and run throughout the month of August.
Last day to receive entries is September 13, 2024.

Additional prizes will be awarded thanks to a continued partnership with Tajín® for the 2024 season. The first 100 entries that include watermelon and Tajín seasonings in their contest submissions will each receive a $20 Amazon digital gift card.

Show us your merchandising talents, both those in store and in print/digital spaces! All entries should showcase watermelon’s benefits including health, happiness, value and versatility. Watermelon of any kind can be included in the promotion, including whole, fresh-cut, mini watermelon, yellow and red or any mix thereof.

Marketing efforts considered in judging will include category visibility, point-of-sale materials, good visual merchandising, messaging nutritional benefits, recipes and/or selection education and use of print, online and/or digital platforms.

Prizes include:
  • 1st Place: $5,000
  • 2nd Place: $2,500
  • 3rd Place: $1,000
  • Honorable Mentions (3): $500 each
  • First 25 entrants will receive a $15 digital gift card
