Watermelon Pomegranate Green Tea
Perk up the flavor and boost the antioxidants and nutrients in your next cup of tea by adding pomegranate juice and watermelon. Use your favorite brand of green tea, but when you buy pomegranate juice, check the label because the ingredients, vitamins and minerals can vary between brands. Premade pomegranate tea bags offer convenience, but you can control the nutritional benefits by brewing your own tea, then adding as much pomegranate juice as you like.
- 4 cups watermelon puree
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 4 cups strongly prepared and chilled green tea
- 1 cup white grape juice
- 1 serving of ice
Mix ingredients together in a large container (except ice) and chill well. Stir before serving and serve over ice.
Makes about 6 to 8 servings.
